American artistic talent in Seoul at SOAF with Art Center Miami
Art Center Miami was part of the successful SOAF expo opening last Thursday May 2nd. This gallery center came all the way from the United States to showcase talented American artists in Seoul. The event will take place at the well-known COEX Convention Center in Seoul, South Korea from May 3nd to 6th, 2013
Art Center Miami mission as a gallery center is to nurture ¡°Art¡± as a way of living, from educational programs to artist representations. Art Center Miami showcases the best quality of genuine artists within the community. At this center, artists with or without disability are granted the opportunity to artistically express with their best performance.
Art Center Miami presents twice a year an excellent group American artist to Asia. Including everything from oil paintings to sculptures their portfolio of artists displays supreme skill. Well-known artists like Leonor Anthony, Jee Yoon, Ingrid Block, Beatriz Ocampo, Roxanna Gottschalk, Susan Simon, Gonzalo Sanchez, Billy Monsalve, Tina Pascual, Tati Egual and Ana Carolina Moreno are some of the exhibiting artists at Seoul Open Art Fair 2013.
Art Center Miami supports emerging artists through its local exhibition space named Dance Art Gallery in Miami. It also provides superior artistic education through its academy Art Atelier. The center is located in the tropical city of Miami – Florida and will be showcasing at SOAF in booth G73.

EXHIBITING ARTISTS IN SOAF 2013
Ana Carolina MorenoAna Carolina Moreno is an artist and Architect who was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1970. She graduated of Architecture in Venezuela and studied Fine Arts in the United States. Her Fine Art Studies combined with an incredible sensibility; has given her the great opportunity to develop a series of amazing clay and metal sculptures as well as Mixed media art pieces. With over twelve years of experience in the art field, she successfully presents her amazing artworks in many galleries in America, Netherlands, Asia and Europe.
BEATRIZ OCAMPO
Beatriz Ocampo is a Colombian artist born in 1960. Since childhood Beatriz awakens a special sensitivity to shape, color and light through her approach to painting and sculpture. Years later based on this experience she acquires knowledge in various techniques such as: brush and palette knife oil, acrylic and oil with textures. Her paintings reflect the graceful nature immerse in abstract backgrounds full of freedom, movement and color. Beatriz brings to Asia a collection of forests that resemble the mysteries nature.
GONZALO SANCHEZ
Gonzalo Sanchez is a contemporary Spanish artist who lives in Miami. He was born in Mexico City in 1956 and lived in Spain until the age of 25. His inspiration comes from his favorite modern artists the Spanish Sorolla and the American Hopper. His work is plenty of abundance and full of colors and textures with a simple and clean concept. He paints in acrylic with palette knives. Gonzalo has participated in several art exhibitions individually and collectively in galleries and art fairs in the US.
INGRID BLOCK
Ingrid is an international artist born in Argentina in 1971. She studied Interior Design in Argentina, and continued art education in Miami. Her talent gave her the opportunity to develop her career as an artist in The United States of America, where she actually lives. Her very characteristic style has opened the doors of art galleries in US and Asia to exhibit her paintings. Her artworks have a combination of impressionism with modernism, with soft colors and rich textures. Ingrid is inspired by the style of the master Seurat.
JEE YOON
Jee Yoon is a contemporary self-taught artist born in Korea in 1977. She graduated from Ehwa Woman's University, majored in Fiber Art and continued her artistic education in the US. Upon graduation she worked two years as an interior designer. Since she moved to Miami she began a new series of artworks trying to identify her multicultural identity in a unique style. She is comfortable working with Korean rice paper and silk thread in her art pieces. Her art work is to create harmony and balance within two different cultures through art.
LEONOR ANTHONY
Leonor Anthony is an Expressionist artist. Born in Cuba, Leonor immigrated with her family to the United States as a very young child. Leonor¡¯s preferred medium is oil on canvas and charcoal drawings. The imagery of her art is crafted with a combination of precise and loose brush strokes, characterized by powerful colors and jarring compositions that elicit vivid emotional reactions. In her work, the world is presented by means of a highly subjective personal and spontaneous self-expression. The artist works are represented in private collections in, US, The Netherlands, Italy and Kenya.
ROXANNA GOTTSCHALK
Roxanna Gottschalk is a Latin American painter born in New York, U.S. Roxanna studied interior design in the Dominican Republic and then continued her Fine Arts education in Miami, Florida. Her impressionism technique has opened the doors to Roxanna in many galleries and art centers in Florida. She gracefully combines small dots of paint to create movements, shadows and lights in her artworks. She represents moments in her canvases through pointillism.
SUSAN SIMON
Is an expressionist artist born in New York in 1951. She studied in Tennessee and moved to Miami in 1957.
Expressionist artists like Susie, sought to express meaning or emotional experience rather than physical reality.
Susan creates her paintings the way she feels, the impressions she experience, and the sensations that culminate while observing life. The thing that motivates her most with her painting is the use of color and textured paint to create emotions in a canvas. She has done art shows for about 10 years, mostly painting on wood and hard surfaces.
TATI EGUAL
Tati Egual is a talented artist from Brazil, who expresses life as she sees it in all her artworks. Her real name is Tatiana and her artist name is Tati. She has exhibited in many opportunities in Brazil, Latin America and Europe . Tati uses soft colors like light purple, pink, white and gold leaves to reflect sophisticated elegance. She studied art in Brazil were she currently lives. She was awarded with her painting in 2012 at the Roma Biennale.
TINA PASCUAL
Valentina Pascual is an American contemporary artist that represents nature through abstract figures. Tina is her artistic name as a diminutive for Valentina. Tina was born in Venezuela and raised in the US since she was only two years old. She expresses softness and tenderness in each of her paintings. Representing always abstract nature, Tina loves to paint abstract flowers, butterflies and trees in soft colors. She studied art in the US, and started her exhibition career in 2006 with a successful art exhibition in the city of Miami. Tina has participated in many collective art shows in the US and Asia. Her paintings are all over the world in private collections in Venezuela, US and Europe
